Dear all,

The year 2023 marks the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Republic of Türkiye. In memory of the 100th anniversary of our republic, numerous events, from scientific and cultural to artistic and sports, have been organized in our country. The current international symposium titled “International Higher Education Symposium & the Present and Future of Education at Universities” has been organized by Gazi Faculty of Education, Gazi University in Türkiye for the year 2024, when our republic enters its second 100th year.

The most significant and powerful aspect of this international symposium, which hosts academicians who are experts in their fields at the higher education level, coming from Finland, Italy, Norway, Columbia, Poland, and the United States, is that it aims to present an interdisciplinary perspective in higher education by bringing together different disciplines. 

Each speaker focuses on both current practices and possible future changes and developments in higher education based on their fields. The speakers at each session will discuss similar topics from different countries but from the same discipline. In this way, it is aimed to create an international intellectual environment in which varying knowledge, perspectives and experiences are shared on common issues at the symposium. The symposium will be held online and the Turkish translation will be provided during the presentation.
